Les Experts enquêtent sur le meurtre d'un certain Doug Hogan. Leurs investigations amènent Stella et Flack dans une école de plongée pour y interroger le responsable, Deven Walsh, âgé de 29 ans. Il explique que Doug était un bon plongeur et évoque son partenaire, Matt Chapman, qu'il n'a pas vu depuis trois semaines. Il suppose qu'il est parti pour une excursion privée... Les enquêteurs interrogent ensuite des clients de Doug : Erika, et son mari Gordon Barnett, un créateur de bijoux
