Un ouvrier est découvert mort sur un chantier, le visage massacré. Raphaël découvre rapidement que l'homme s'est fait refaire le visage il y a une dizaine d'années. Et Hélène, de son côté, comprend qu'il vivait sous une fausse identité. Il s'agit en réalité de Julien Deredec, responsable d'un accident de la route qui a coûté la vie à plusieurs enfants. Les parents ont-ils réussi à le retrouver ? Son ancienne vie a-t-elle ressurgi alors qu'il se pensait à l'abri ?
