Paris is home to more award-winning pastry chefs than anywhere else in the world. Here, the day revolves around patisserie. Morning begins with the buttery flakes of a croissant. Resistance is futile, and Eva is seduced by the Paris-Brest, a rum baba, the macaron, a mango cake and dahlia, to name just a few.
