As the growing season draws to a close, it's time to catch up with Adam Frost in his new garden – and he's been busy. The base of the greenhouse is now in, and there's turf to lay, soft fruit to get in the ground and a shady border to plant up. In the Peak District, Rekha Mistry offers up some more timely advice on how to grow veg in pots, while Rachel de Thame heads to Nottinghamshire to revel in that autumn stalwart, the hardy chrysanthemum. The wonderful world of Japanese maples comes under the spotlight as a mother and daughter share their love of these beautiful trees. And Advolly Richmond delves into the colourful history behind the gardens at Blenheim Palace.
