Une fusillade éclate et huit personnes sont blessées, tandis que l'un des escrocs est abattu lors de l'intervention de la police. Grissom et son équipe sont appelés sur les lieux pour enquêter sur cet impressionnant braquage. Parallèlement, Catherine et Sara se rendent dans le désert où l'employé d'un magasin a été retrouvé mort. Certains indices laissent penser que les deux affaires pourraient être liées
