Nathalie, une jeune femme âgée de 22 ans, est retrouvée morte en pleine nuit dans le hall de l'immeuble où habite sa soeur. Le mystère s'épaissit quand on découvre que la victime était autiste et vivait dans une institution dont il est, en théorie, impossible de s'échapper... L'enquête intervient un jour très spécial dans la vie d'Alice : elle doit rendre visite à Mathieu en prison et lui présenter son fils pour la première fois
