Kate, an aspiring young singer who works a dead-end job as an elf at a Christmas shop in Central London, is made homeless after being evicted by her flatmate. Forced to live with her parents, she helps out at a homeless shelter and crosses paths with an enigmatic young man called Tom. However, their relationship proves far from straightforward. Director Paul Feig's romantic comedy, starring Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding, and Emma Thompson, who also co-wrote the script.
