Figures for the first seven months show milk production in Northern Ireland is on for a record year. But fluctuating prices, rising costs and the ever-present threat of disease have left many dairy businesses under financial pressure. Alongside local farmer Emily McGowan, Charlotte Smith and Adam Henson explore how dairy farmers across County Antrim, one of Northern Ireland's most productive dairy regions, are turning to tech and innovative business models to build a more resilient future. Adam also introduces this year's BBC Food and Farming Awards Countryfile Young Countryside Champion nominees.
