Devant les énièmes jérémiades dragueuses de Howard, Penny lui dit enfin ses quatre vérités : il est bizarre, pathétique et aucune fille ne voudra jamais de lui. Howard sombre dans une dépression. Du coup ses amis perdent le plus important des co-équipiers pour la prochaine compétition de combat de robots. Penny se plie alors en quatre afin de se faire pardonner
