Alors qu'il s'apprête à avoir son deuxième rencard avec Penny, Stuart demande des conseils à Leonard, l'ex de la jeune femme. Leonard tente alors de saboter leur rendez-vous en donnant volontairement de mauvaises recommandations. Par ailleurs Wolowitz est dans l'embarras : les toilettes qu'il a construites pour la station spatiale de la NASA, partie en mission pour six mois, ont un énorme défaut. Il a en effet mal réglé la valve de dérivation qui risque de lâcher au bout de dix utilisations. Il met donc tout le monde à contribution pour trouver une solution
