Sur un podium publicitaire en plein Times Square, une jeune femme, Jenna Donovan, danse dans un verre de martini géant, quand soudain, une pluie de balles de tennis s'abat sur les fêtards. La danseuse est morte dans le verre, apparemment électrocutée. Parallèlement, le Club Prowl vient d'être dévalisé par des braqueurs qui ont fait deux victimes. Ted est mort en leur résistant et Danny accompagne Brandi, la barmaid blessée d'une balle dans la tête, dans une ambulance avec son fiancé Paul
