L'assistant du procureur est retrouvé mort dans un cimetière. Les détectives découvrent bientôt que celui-ci avait participé à un jeu dans lequel les concurrents s'éliminent les uns les autres en se «tuant» avec des pistolets à eau. Stella, Lindsay et Mac mènent l'enquête pour tenter d'élucider ce meurtre pour le moins étrange. Danny et Sheldon enquêtent sur la mort d'une jeune femme qui gagnait sa vie en intentant des procès à des restaurateurs
