Au cours d'une kermesse de charité, Angela remporte une adhésion à un club très privé, qu'elle offre à Tony. Tony est très enthousiaste, jusqu'au jour où il se rend au club pour jouer au golf et découvre que les membres sont très snobs. C'est alors qu'il rencontre Lowel Michaels, un adhérent sympathique, qui l'invite à jouer avec son groupe. Tony accepte avec joie
