Le docteur Hank Pym a construit un tunnel quantique pour retrouver sa femme, Janet, disparue depuis des années dans la dimension subatomique. Il fait appel à Scott Lang, avec lequel il est pourtant brouillé, mais qui est le seul capable de retrouver Janet grâce à son costume d'Ant-Man. Le super-héros va devoir faire équipe avec Hope, la fille de Pym, qui devient une nouvelle super-héroïne : la Guêpe
