Le corps sans vie de Constance Fabiani vient d'être découvert. La jeune femme, qui participait à un bal, a reçu des coups violents qui ont entraîné sa mort. Elle aurait été agressée alors qu'elle venait de quitter la piste de danse pour répondre à un appel téléphonique. Une fois sur les lieux, les enquêteurs de la Section de recherche découvrent que la victime, qui se trouvait en situation de divorce, entretenait une liaison avec Roberto, son professeur de tango
