Les garçons mettent au point un robot destructeur pour le concours annuel organisé par la Ligue des combats de robots. Devant les énièmes jérémiades dragueuses de Howard, Penny lui dit enfin ses quatre vérités : il est bizarre, pathétique et aucune fille ne voudra jamais de lui. Howard sombre dans une dépression. Du coup ses amis perdent le plus important des co-équipiers pour la prochaine compétition de combat de robots. Penny se plie alors en quatre afin de se faire pardonner
