Pour progresser dans le tournoi, Sacha doit affronter Iris et son Dracolosse avec Escroco. Durant le match, ce dernier évolue en Crocorible. Après une lutte acharnée, c'est finalement Sacha et son nouveau Pokémon qui l'emportent. Sacha se retrouve ainsi face à Niko. Ce match voit s'opposer Majaspic et Grotichon. Malgré l'avantage du type, Grotichon ne parvient pas à infliger de dégâts à son adversaire et finit par perdre. Niko est donc le vainqueur et se retrouve face à Goyah
